Fanatech connects fans with the teams, athletes, schools and creators they support. These Community Guidelines explain what is and isn't allowed on Fanatech. They apply to everyone (fans, creators, athletes, teams and schools) and to everything you post or share on the Platform: photos, videos, captions, comments, profiles, usernames, logos and the content those logos unlock.
These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. If you break them, we may remove your content or restrict or close your account.
1. What's not allowed
Sexual content and nudity
- No pornography, sexually explicit content, or nudity, including in paid or subscriber-only content.
- No sexually suggestive content, sexual services, or links to adult content.
Anything that sexualizes or endangers minors (zero tolerance)
- No content that sexualizes, exploits or endangers anyone under 18, in any form.
- We remove this content immediately, permanently close the account, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
Violence and dangerous content
- No threats of violence against any person, team, school or group.
- No graphic or gory content, or content that glorifies violence or violent groups.
- No content that promotes or encourages self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
- No dangerous challenges or stunts that could cause serious injury.
Hate speech
- No attacks, slurs or dehumanizing content based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness.
Harassment and bullying
- No bullying, insults, intimidation or targeted harassment of other users, athletes, coaches, officials, fans or opposing teams.
- No sharing someone's private information (such as a home address, phone number, school schedule or personal documents) without their permission.
- No unwanted contact after someone has blocked you or asked you to stop.
Illegal goods, activities and scams
- No selling or promoting illegal drugs, weapons, alcohol or tobacco to minors, or other regulated or illegal goods.
- No gambling or betting promotions, including betting on games or athletes.
- No scams, fraud, phishing, pyramid schemes, or attempts to collect payments outside Fanatech.
- No counterfeit merchandise.
Spam, fake accounts and impersonation
- No spam, repetitive or misleading posts, or fake likes, comments or followers.
- No pretending to be another person, team, school or brand, or creating accounts to get around a ban or block.
Content you don't have rights to
- Only post content you created or have permission to use, including music, video, photos and other people's likenesses.
- Only upload team, school or brand logos you are authorized to use.
2. Content featuring minors
Many Fanatech creators are school and youth teams. Content that features people under 18 must:
- be appropriate and show them in a sports, school or team context;
- have any permissions required from parents, guardians, the school or the team; and
- never reveal private details such as a minor's home address, phone number or personal schedule.
3. Respect paid content
Creator content on Fanatech is for subscribers. Don't copy, record, screenshot or re-share a creator's subscriber-only content outside Fanatech.
4. Reporting and blocking
If you see something that breaks these Guidelines, please report it:
- A post or a user: tap ••• on the post or the profile and choose Report.
- A comment: tap the flag icon next to the comment.
You can also block anyone from the same ••• menu. When you block someone, neither of you can see the other's posts or comments, and any follow between you is removed. You can unblock people at any time from Blocked Users in the app menu.
Reports are confidential: we don't tell the person who reported them. Our team reviews reports within 24 hours.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
5. What happens when the Guidelines are broken
Depending on how serious it is, and whether it has happened before, we may:
- remove the content;
- send a warning;
- temporarily suspend the account; or
- permanently close the account.
Content that sexualizes or endangers minors, credible threats of violence, and illegal activity lead to the account being closed immediately, and we report it to the appropriate authorities. Creator accounts that break these Guidelines may also lose access to subscriptions and payouts, as described in our Terms and the Creator Agreement.
6. Appeals
If you think we removed your content or restricted your account by mistake, email us at info@fanatech.app with your username and what happened. We'll review it and get back to you.
7. Changes to these Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines as Fanatech grows. We'll post the new version on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
